About this bookA clear overview of the title

Author information

A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda

Śrī Śrīmad A.C.

Infatigable, Śrī Śrīmad A.C.

Nara-nārāyaṇa Dāsa (Normand Vanasse) joined the Montreal ISKCON temple in 1980. As a new bhakta he was trained in book distribution. He continued this service for a decade, along with performing street /harināma/.

In 1985, on the order of His Holiness Bhakti-tīrtha Swami, Nara-nārāyaṇa went to Abidjan on the Ivory Coast and opened the first French-speaking temple on the African continent.

Not too many years later, he began narrating and recording Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books to share with French-speaking listeners worldwide. After his first audiobook was released, his listeners so much loved his presentations that he decided to continue. He has since narrated /“Śrī Īśopaniṣad”/, /“Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead”/, /“Bhagavad-gītā As It Is”/, and /“Śrī Upadeśāmṛta”/ (/“The Nectar of Instruction”/).

A musician and poet, Nara-nārāyaṇa continues to dedicate himself to singing the songs of the Vaiṣṇava /ācāryas/ in French translation and sharing Kṛṣṇa consciousness in Canada and Haiti.
